COPD: There is Hope. Ways to Improve COPD, Emphysema, and Chronic Bronchitis

The diagnosis of COPD can be devastating, but there is hope. There are ways to improve lung function after you have been diagnosed. From things you should …

  1. I completely disagree with vaping being hundreds of times better. The oil in the Vapes clings to lung tissue and has adverse effects Especially for those that have lung damage already. For those that have been smokers long enough to have COPD vaping can cause immediate allergies and threaten the simple ability that remains for breathing. As it stands, with the limited research we have on vaping 2% of people that vape after their lungs have been damaged to COPD levels will have a complete arrest of their remaining lung capacity and death follows without immediate attention, and sadly even some will die with it. I agree on quitting smoking. I agree with most of the rest of what you said in this video, HOWEVER, healing must include complete cessation of tobacco and particularly nicotine. Nicotine inhibits the body's ability to mend itself. Stopping nicotine will help to create a body that heals better and thrives longer. 👍

  2. Im 36 next month and last week i was diagnosed with 2-4% into stage 3 copd with lungs of a 106yr old, i was told thats normally some1 over the age of 50 with those readings. I cut out smoking a few days b4 it was confirmed, my brain dont even tell me i want a death stick as i have tried many times in the past an failed. Im putting my health n family 1st now.

  3. I was diagnosed with Pulmonary Hypertension and I have had all the test done to me even the one your talking about! I was told I would have to be on Oxygen for the rest of my life. I do not smoke or drink. I injured my back in 2007 and went through 5 surgeries. When I was done and unable to work again my Oxygen started going so low that I was getting put in the hospital every other week until my doctor sent me to a lung doctor and I had a angiogram they found out it was Pulmonary Hypertension.. I do well as long as I keep my Oxygen on but if I take it off my Oxygen starts dropping. I told my son that I was always going to be on Oxygen and he told me that wasn't true that I could start slowly getting off of the Oxygen. What is your thoughts on this? Thank you for listening

  4. I really would like and need to quit smoking, it is by far the hardest thing to do, I have tried Chantix and I have to say it was working, but I could not get past the horrible headaches and vision problems I was having, there were times I could not function, my vision was like looking through water that was constantly moving and I could focus, if anyone has quit that has smoked for 30 years please let me know how you did it.

  5. I have had COPD since 2012 . I am using essential oils and praying. I don't use those inhalers. GOD has given us natural ways of helping us. When I went to get my latest breathing test done. My breathing had improved by 1 point . To GOD BE THE GLORY . PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!! IS ALL I COULD SAY. I have to use oxygen at night. Peppermint, eucalyptus, spearmint are all good for you.

  6. NO SIR… I got diagnosed at the age of 35 with COPD Emphysema bronchiectasis, I have had my Right Lung Lobe removed and in 2014 my left lung was stuck to my chest cavity wall, I stopped smoking cigarettes (the only thing I ever smoked) as soon as they told me I had COPD in 2003 and two years later is when I had my first major surgery

  7. One loophole you could possibly go through – I have 25% lung capacity and trying the best I can,, been bad for 15 years gradually getting worse and the exercise part was ok. till I got a blocked valve…… last time I was at cardiologist he had suggested a new valve.. but is on the back seat for now as my lung function has not been kept up to date and does not want to take the chance. I am st a point I am looking at diet and cut a lot of what you said out…. but since the heart issue I find just standing has become an issue….. although I do what I can and work with Meatphysics, without which I don't think I would still be here. and keeping a positive attitude.. but I feel I am stuck in a catch22 scenario . and lost just what else to do.. BTW – I am in the UK

  8. how dare these rat bastards post life threatening information… if you suffer COPD the last thing you want is to increase your CO2 levels…. this breathing method put me in hospital

  10. I can absolutely vouch for the extra Omega 3s & D3s helping lung function. I have never been a smoker. I have Pulmonary "ARTERIAL" Hypertension diagnosed by way of angiogram. PAH has nearly snuffed me out. A year ago I started a keto lifestyle, stopped all processed carbs, grains and nightshade vegetables. I am 60# down and have my life back. I can do simple housekeeping again and light work around the house. Beats laying around waiting to die. According to my last lung function test done 10 yrs ago and a few months ago (yes I was one of the original study done for Letairis) my lung function is only down 1/2 liter. That is an awesome finding. My Pulmonologist is doing cartwheels and so is my GP. COPD can be improved so much by a KETO lifestyle and using the appropriate vitamins and minerals for good health.

  11. I have had asthma my whole life but about 5 years ago my asthma got so bad and I was diagnosed with emphysema/COPD which was most likely due to the asthma. I was on double antibiotics and steroids, still didn't feel any better. I already used Advair, Spiriva, and albuterol in my nebulizer, they just didn't do much. It was awful for me due to the difficulty in breathing, nothing gave me better relief from the severe breathlessness and Wheezing till i started on this COPD Herbal from Organic Herbal Clinic ( w ww.organicherbalclinic.c om )Its been 4 months since i completed the Emphysema Herbal Formula, all my symptoms are gone including constant coughing, i breath very much easier and can never be thankful enough to nature

  12. Lung Function Test what a load of crap, I have had two of them and found nothing, what is the point of doing this test when your sitting there relaxed and being able to breath, but when you exert yourself, your coughing up phlegm and coughing till you become dizzy, why isn't the Lung Function test done then, I have had this problem for years and it has go worse over the last six months, I gave up smocking 30 years ago.

  13. I got mine from second hand smoke. I had a helper that smoked these stinking brown cigarettes. I hated the smell of those things and I asked him to please smoke outside. He refused and he smoked in his bedroom and I could smell them coming up my vents. I have never smoked anything so badly. Plus my granddaughter smoked some type of medicinal weed that nearly killed me also because I could smell them even when she was on my deck. My doctor told me that I second hand smoke was worse then people thinks. It's very true. My lungs were in good shape until that caretaker came to help. My problem showed up in a pet/ Ct scan. Bad lungs after him smoking and my granddaughter. Stay away from second hand smoke. Thank you for your videos.

  15. Curious, to all those smokers: What made you start smoking? And do you regret it now? I was terrified of smoking because I was afraid I woukd like it too much😬

  16. hello mister,my name is salah ,i'm copd so would you like to answers me if after a fund treatment which has improve your spirometry to normal level and your share tiffeneau will be 95% THE POURCENTAGE of obstruction of copd, after that resulth what is your futur therapy in purpose to kept this good state,my medecine actuel is symbicort 400 ug/2 per day and spiriva 1/ per day

  17. Yes. Believe you can fight it! I was diagnosed [brutally] at age 24 with huge upper lobe bullae in both lungs with many smaller throughout the lower lobes [not anti-trypsin deficient either] and I turn 55 this year. That's over 30 years..Sure it's getting pretty hard these days but I'm still not on oxygen. Best tips: Ditch the cigs if you do smoke. Walk as much as possible if you can – even if it hurts. And learn to use your diaphragm..breath in to the count of 4 and out to the count of 8 [or 2 in 4 out – whatever you can manage but always double the amount in exhalation. Use that auxiliary breathing muscle and try to get into the habit of breathing into your abdomen and out with your diaphragm..] Meditate and forget the 3-5 year prognosis. Hope this helps someone. Peace.

  18. Hey man! I like your attitude and showing that most doctors medicate rather than cure. Anyways I have copd stage 3…..I also do keto and was wondering about the possibilities if I do extended fasting to use autophagy to try and cure this disease. Like maybe do a 2 week water fast. or even a dry fast for a week? Any suggestions or thoughts on this for my lungs health? I also have lost weight I was 243.6 lbs and gave up and just sat in a chair for like 10 years eating and just waiting to die from this disease….. Keto saved my life and gave me hope and motivated me to try and fight a losing battle….. But I was reading on autophagy and wondered if it could rebuild the sacs in my lungs or grow new ones, Am I wrong that this idea may hold a cure and no one wants us to be cured and just die….. I am 64 years old and been keto for around 2 years now.?

As always thanks for your YouTube videos as I believe they give others hope.

Ps I am unable to afford the grass fed need and range free eggs and such so I just buy my meats and such from Krogers 🙂 ….. I am also wanting to do weight training but it takes all my air and almost feel like I will pass out some days and wonder if this is doing any good as I can not breathe . sorry for the long winded text…I am lousy at explaining things. hahaha

Ih yeah I also wanted to know if it is wise to not take my Stiolto Respimat if I am breathing ok without it. or will my copd get worse from not taking it I am a us Vet and only go to VA Hospital doctors.

  19. I had COPD for 9 years. My first symptoms were dry cough, chest tightness and shortness of breath. My first chest x-ray only showed bronchitis. Finally I went to a pulmonologist and was diagnosed with COPD.i have used all the medication yet they don’t work, last year December I was told by a formal emphysema patient to use herbal treatment which I really did,i was surprise the herbal products effectively get rid of my COPD totally. When you get where you cannot breathe it may be too late. Good luck to each and every one that will be trying their herbal treatment .

  20. 1. Switch to nicotine gum, or read 'The Easy Way to Stop Smoking' by Allen Carr, or whatever it takes to stop inhaling smoke into your lungs. 2. Ask your doctor about a blood test to see if you have Alpha One disease, which is a genetic condition that can cause COPD. 3. Exercise. Walking, yoga and resistance bands are good choices. 4. Nutrition 5. Good Luck.

  21. Thank you Sir! I used to work in the pharma industry and every time I hear COPD, I auto-magically think Albuterol Sulphate, or Ipratropium Bromide. Your view is very very refreshing!

  22. I don't have it yet but smoke like a coal powered freight Train I mean one after another sometimes I light one with the butt of the last one my grandfather smoked lucky strikes for 58 years and didn't get COPD What is your advice to me I'm 31 years old?

  23. COPD used to only be diagnosed in people who had severe disease. Now it's a catchall diagnosis. For example, everyone with even mild-moderate asthma is diagnosed with COPD.

  24. Smokers stop now. I have copd. Cuts your life and interests short. People and family know about me struggling but they continue to light up, wasting life and money. NO SECOND SMOKE…KILLS AS WELL.
